ANCIENT ROOTS
The Tapestry of Influence
My path has been shaped by immersion, standing fully in the rhythm of ancient practices, living among sacred spaces, and sharing spirit with people whose devotion and presence awakened something deep within me. From my first journey to India in 2017, every encounter, every breath, every moment in ashrams, temples, and villages has been a mirror, reflecting the infinite within myself.
The colors, sounds, and textures of those places; the sunrise over tea gardens, the scent of incense and flowers, the quiet devotion of morning chants, the laughter and resilience of communities were not just external experiences; they became gateways into inner landscapes of awareness, compassion, and presence. I felt how yoga is not a posture, but a living practice of connection, clarity, and devotion, a dialogue between body, mind, and spirit that unfolds moment by moment.
These experiences have shifted the way I move, breathe, and teach. Every class, every meditation, every guidance I offer is informed by the living wisdom I witnessed in these sacred practices, the humanity I encountered, and the sense of the infinite that pulses through all life. Yoga, for me, is a tapestry woven of study, service, devotion, and presence; a path that continually invites me to align with the heart, to share that alignment, and to honor the light within every person I meet.
Experience & Lineage
I am a yoga instructor whose path is deeply rooted in both study and lived experience. My formal training includes a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training, a 200-hour QiGong Teacher Training, a 300-hour Ayurveda Wellness Coaching certification, and my ongoing 300-hour Teacher Training at Kripalu, providing me with tools to guide others into embodied awareness, energy flow, and presence.
Yoga, as I share it, is for every person. It is not about flexibility, postures, or fitness; it is a doorway to connecting with your true self, the infinite force that flows through all of life. Each practice offers a small lesson in stillness, awareness, and presence, inviting you to meet your own inner wisdom and vitality.
Since my first journey to India in 2017, I have returned multiple times, immersing myself in ashram life, pilgrimages, and retreats. I have studied within the Sivananda and Kripalu lineages, explored Shakti, and participated in devotional practices and Kirtan. These experiences have shaped my understanding of yoga as a way of being, a lived practice of presence, inquiry, and balance.
My teaching invites students to experience yoga as a personal, transformative practice; one that cultivates awareness, clarity, and connection to the deeper currents of life, in whatever form that may take for each individual.
